I have been working the last 20 years in industrial construction. We build high rise condos, computer chip manufacturing plants and offices… basically large construction.

Since I am over 60 years of age and wondering what I was going to do when I retired, I had considered real estate since my step mom owns a few small apartments in her home town that she and my dad had purchased and upgraded/remodeled.

I sort of enjoy working on that type of project. Sort of meaning that it can be fun/rewarding but takes time, money and ability/desire.

One fall afternoon I was walking thru our home to the living room and noticed an infomercial by a guy who had flipped homes and had testimonials of people he taught how to flip homes. They were showing checks from the amounts they made on their flip.

Making a long story short, I decided to get involved.

After taking and spending my 401k and most of my IRA on learning, I was ready for my first flip. Not having any money left and horrible credit… I was wondering how I would fund this project!
